Hi there,
I have just found a death for Minnie Loveday. She died in the District of Marrickville 1965 #34907
Her parents parents were Joseph Stone and Elizabeth Thompson.
Minnie was born in New Zealand in 1897.
Minnie married a Thomas Dave Pennicott in 1918 and they divorced in 1920 or 1932. Two different years are given on http://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/
I am not sure when Minnie went to Sydney but had trouble finding her as her mother's death notice in New Zealand in 1958 said Mabel as the name of her daughter.
Minnie married a Robert Henry Loveday in 1938 #6680 in Sydney
I am trying to find out where she is buried. I have looked on Ryerson Index and do not see a death notice there.
Any help with this would be welcomed

It looks like her husband Robert Henry LOVEDAY died 1965 St Leonards
I see he was on the electoral roll 1943, Wentworth, NSW
1949 Blaxland, NSW and same for 1954.
Could sks look this up as well for me please

While I can't help with Minnie here are the details of her husband and where he is buried.
Sydney Morning Herald
Loveday Robert Henry-May 6 1965 at hospital ,of Greenacre,dearly loved husband of the late Minnie Loveday and loved brother of Joseph,Stanley ,Nellie(Mrs Reynolds) and Frances.In his 63rd year.
Loveday -the funeral of the late Robert Henry Loveday of Greenacre will leave St Swithins Church of England Church,Telegraph Road,Pymble This Day (Monday) after service appointed to commence at (.30 am .At the conlcusion of the service a Cremation will take place at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium.
He left a will and his occupation was paymaster.

He's not listed in 1954.
Back in 1943 he was at 1113 Pacific Highway, Pymble with Mary Elizabeth Loveday, home duties. He was a carter.
1937 & 1936 & 1933 are the same.
But back in 1930 he and his wife were at Quarry Rd, St Ives, and Robert Samuel was a fruit grower.

Newbe perhaps contact the Northern Suburbs crematorium to see if Minnie was cremated there as well.

Have just had an email back from Northern Suburbs Crematorium and Robert Loveday's ashes were scattered in the rose garden on 24 May 1965.
There is no sign of Minnie Loveday there

I wonder if Minnie and her husband were separated (although she is mentioned in his death notice)? I am probably jumping to the worng conclusion but I would have thought that if they died in the same year 1965 they might have been buried/cremated in the same place.
If the funeral notice has an undertaker's name then they may be able to tell you if they were involved with Minnie's funeral as well. Some undertakers will give you information, some won't. maybe worth a try anyway.
(I see Minnie's death date as 1964, but still close enough)

Happen to be at ANL so found the Funeral notice - undertaker's name for Robert is GREGORY and CARR, Pty, Ltd. Gordon.
I then found them on Google and they are still in Gordon as well as some other locations.

Have heard noting from the funeral director at all ::)
Will keep looking in areas close by as well
Not sure if I said this but in her mothers death notice in NZ in 1958 it has her as Mabel not Minnie.
Her birth was registered as Minnie and so have both her marriages and death

Hi There,
I now have Minnie's death transcription and she was cremated at Rookwood. Minnie died on 10/11/1964. She was cremated the next day 11/11/1964
Could sks please look for a death notice for her please
It will be under Minnie LOVEDAY
