I've recently found out that my Granny married at St Columba's church,Middlesbrough in 1910.At the time she lived at 88 Garden street Middlesbrough.I've tried a few times to locate it on the 1911 census but not been successful.Can anyone help?Thanks

Still not having any luck with finding Garden street.Tried Middlesbrough east then west.Sorry

I haven't used the address search on 1911 very much but those I have tried for my research seemed easy. If you put in the street name and the town plus county then you get results. Click on them and look for the right number. Did you look at the search tips?

Hello
Do not use the word "street" in the search, just type in "garden" or "garden st" in the top box and “middlesbrough” in the bottom box. The middle box can be left unaltered.
It is listed as Garden St in the database. If more letters than this are used in the search phrase it will not find the entries.
