Hi I have had a look at the 1861 census for IOM and there in no Edith Marlowe.

However there is an Ida Marlow, age 5 living with her brother Edmund age 9 at her grandmother and an aunt and uncle.

Ann Marlow age 70
Margaret Marlow age 37
Michael Marlow age 25
