Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find a family with the surname of Mahony/Mahoney who were living in Carniffath, Trevethin in Monmouthshire in 1858. I have not been able to locate this village unfortunately. Can anyone tell me if it still exists or not? Perhaps I have the spelling incorrect, although I have located Trevethin and surmise that it was a small community somewhere nearby?
I have scant information about a Michael John Mahony, who was apparently born in Carniffath on 24/4/1858 but cannot verify it. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to look for this birth?
Kind regards
Salamander
