Interested to hear from anyone with information about, or connections to, Maclennans of Arivruaich. In addition any information about Chrissie, daughter of Christina (1903-36) and Donald John Maclennan (1903-unsure) both originally of Arivruaich, would be of some help.
Many thanks in advance

Hello Scolpaig,
Can't help with the dates you mention but I have 4 Maclennan families living in Arivruach in 1891, at Nos. 4, 5, 14, 15. If this helps in any way please contact me.

Thanks for the offer Eric but I am aware of these Maclennans (most of them related in some way) My own grandfather was born and resided at 2 Arivruaich with other members at 6 and 10. We Maclennans didn't stray to far from home.:O)
Once again thanks for the offer.

Hi,
I have been trying to sort out the Arivruaich (Lochs) McLennans too - in 1861 I have:
- Donald, 80 yo bn Harris & Catherine, also 80 bn Harris , with a dau ?Ann, unmar, 40, and a grd-dau Mary, 7
- John, 36 bn Harris and Margaret 32 bn Harris with sons Donald 4 bn Lochs and John 3 bn Lochs
I woule be interested to get the full story on each family from Lochs (or Harris) taht you know about.
