I am seeking any information about Percy Ruff and his wife Dorothy(nee Levene)
who went to Canada in 1952/53. They originally lived in Southampton before emigrating.

- they're here in 1952 heading to New York (and with a daughter?)
There seems to be someone researching this family on Ancestry, gives Percy William Ruff d. 1993 and Dorothy Levene d. 2003 (in Ontario). Possibly a Canadian cousin?

Percy, Dorothy and daughter travelled on the Queen Mary leaving Southampton 9 April 1952 and arriving New York City 14 April 1952. They were "in transit to Canada".
The online ancestry tree shows both Percy and his wife died in Holland Landing, Ontario.

Clive! My grandma was Dorothy. They came to Canada around 1952 and lived just north of Toronto. They moved up to Holland Landing in the 70s and lived there till they died. Jan is their daughter and I'm Jan's daughter Megan. I don't think grandma heard from Joe after they came to Canada. She only found out about her mother's death when her friend sent her the newspaper clippings.
Would love to know what you know about your grandfather Richard Levene's family.
Please get in touch!

Hi,
Just wanted to see if Clive or Gelert had any info on the Levene family. I'd like to break through the wall that I've hit. :)
Thanks, hope to hear from someone!
