Title: Hardingham
Post by: glosguy on Wednesday 21 October 09 10:07 BST (UK)
Hi,

A lot of my family lived in Hardingham in Norfolk from the early 1800's until  the turn of the century they are the Garners and the Coles. The Garners at one point ran the now closed pub the bird in the hand and then went on to become the villages "carrier". This role was taken over by his son in law Robert Cole.
I am  really trying to find out more about the village itself as they all  seemed to  live in the same place but the road name changes every census. They were all mostly Ag labs too so trying to find out which farm they may have worked on.
Really looking for anyone that may have a really good knowledge of the village.

Many ~Thanks

G'Day Glosguy,
I am also descended from Robert Garner and Amelia Beckham. Their daughter, Elizabeth, married Robert Cole in 1873 and they were my Great Grandparents.
If you contact me I may be able to help you with your family tree - at least that side of it.
Regards,
Oldfeller  in Adelaide, South Australia
