Rankine - Auchterderran, Kirkcaldy, Dysart
Harcus - Burntisland
Cormie - Kingskettle, Monimail
McEwan - Burntisland
Cameron - Abbotshall, Kirkcaldy
Wilson - Dysart, Kirkcaldy
Lawson - Strathmiglo
Thomson - Torryburn, Markinch

There is also a special section on RootsChat for surname interests - if you go to the bottom of a RootsChat page in the brown section under "your Tools" you will see "Surname Interests" - if you click on this it will take you thru and give you a choice of headings, "quick search" and the letter "J" would take you to people researching Johnston. I am a decendant of Euphemia Wilson Henderson of Dysart.
From Findagrave
"Possibly born in 1798 or 1801, in Dysart. Daughter of Alexander Wilson and Jane/Jean Ritchie. Married to Robert Henderson. Died in Dysart, Fife, Scotland at age 91. Dysart is now part of Kirkcaldy. On the 1881 census, she was a widow, and her widower brother Alexander Wilson, and her widowed sister Margaret Wilson Clunie were living with her."
