Hi,
Could I please have a 1841 census lookup in Middx for
William Henry Hepburn b. 1791.
Also, if it's not too cheeky.
1851 census for William Hepburn also Middx, b.1785.
Many thanks,

Hello Vicki,
I found your entry on here while I was looking for Horace Peter Hepburn, I am helping a member of our FH Library with his Hepburn family and he descends from William Henry Hepburn b abt 1791.
Would you know who the parents are of William Henry Snr??
So far we have found William Henry b abt 1811, Henry James b abt 1813, Edgar Theodore b abt 1817, Alfred Matthew b abt 1821, Mary Ann Amelia b abt 1827, Clara Sophis b abt 1829 and Horace Peter b abt 1831 as his children. Not of their occupations are Law Writers/Stationers.
His wife Sally Ann's death is 1842 London.
Hope you can help go back further.

Hi snowflake,
thank you for your reply, however I have no concrete evidence of linking William to my g.g.grandfather John Hepburn.
My g.g.grandfather named his second son William, and I am working on the assumption that this is a family name.
Also, there is a Hepburn family living Surrey at this time who were Leather Currier's.
National Archives.
As my g.g.grandfather was a book binder in London, thought there may be some connection.
1851 census states that he was not born in county.
I will see if I can find any further information for you.
With regards,
Vicki

Thanks Vicki,
I found this while looking through the baptisms at St Andrew, Holborn. (on Ancestry)
John Hepburn, son of Peter and Margaret Hepburn bapt 25 Feb 1798. John is also on the IGI with 2 brothers. I don't know if it of help to you, but I thought I would pass it on anyway.
Happy Hunting for your Hepburns.
Snowflake. :D

Vicki, Sorry, the address on the baptism was Theobalds or Thorbolds Road.
Snowflake ::)

Many thanks Snowflake.
That sounds like a link with my John as he also lived in Theobalds road.
I will now go and see how many houses there was in Theobalds road and if they lived close to each other.
Thanks again,
Vicki
