Title: Who holds convict trial records
Post by: nax071 on Thursday 15 October 09 03:03 BST (UK)
Can anyone offer some advice on how you obtain the trial records from: "Lancaster - Liverpool Borough - quarter sessions" from 1828.

Numerous searches later and I am just as confused as when I started.  I have all details AFTER transportation for my convict ancestor:  Date, courts, parents, even what tattoos he has but its the actual crime (and hulk if possible) that I need.

On Australia "WDYTYA"  with Sigrid Thornton, it showed her getting records from the same place for approx: the same era.  Has anybody obtained trial records before that could give me a few hints or directions.
Thankyou,  Regards, Caralyn

Thanks Leanne,

I keep avoiding that site 'cause I just dont get it!!!  From your link, the records seem to be exactly what I am looking for, so I am just going to have to learn to master it.  Thanks again,  Kind regards,  Caralyn.
