Title: seeking information on "Tara" Gardenia Rd Elsternwick Vic

I am seeking information on a property named "Tara " Gardenia Rd Elsternwick Victoria around 1919.
 
On the 1919 census my Grandparents James Melville Jones and Ellen Jones are listed as living there

I would contact the Glen Eira Council http://www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/index.asp?h=-1
They should be able to give you information on this property.

By googling the address I gave I came across a death and a funeral notice for a person lving at that address in January 1916 - James Patrick Thresher.  The address is slightly different as the suburb is Gardenvale rather than Elsternwick which is the next suburb nearer to the city.

You can see Gardenia Rd on Googlemap, with house numbers shown but no way of knowing which house was called Tara.

Yes I saw the funeral on Google. I will contact the council as I live interstate
