Title: Sayer Street Newington
Post by: chiplassie on Saturday 10 October 09 15:42 BST (UK)
My Davis/Davies family lived on Sayer Street, in St Matthew Newington parish from 1891 to 1901.  I can't locate this street today.  Would anyone happen to know the current name for Sayer Street?
Regards,
CL

It used to be next to Elephant Road.

Look at this http://booth.lse.ac.uk/cgi-bin/do.pl?sub=view_booth_and_barth&args=532100,178900,1,large,0
It is under the A in St Matthew

Thank you for the information and the maps.  The family were on Rodney Road in the 1920s so that makes sense.  I appreciate your help.
