I am an ancestor of Christine Elizabeth Ohye. Her Son was my Grandfather. I have information on Fingers. I am looking for more information on Christine Ohye and the Ohye family. We have some.
Who is after the information and what is your relationship? Do you have photos?

Thank you Dee for your reply.
This is all new to me so I was pleased to receive your email.
Lets hope Al reads his emails.
I take it you are not related to the Fingers. You did know a bit about them though.

princess41,
No, I have no connection with the Fingers. I was simply answering a request from Al for some help. :)
Rootschat is a family history community who help each other with information and lookups from all kinds of sources. It's amazing the help you can get and/or give.
For example, some people who happen to live near a cemetery may go and take photographs of a grave; others who are headed to a particular library or archive will do lookups there. People in other countries will help each other out.
Others have more knowledge of accessing information on the internet.
Then there are boards where some people volunteer to restore old photographs; transcribe old or illegible writing, etc etc.
Rootschat is a wonderful community of very helpful people.
The Personal Message system is a very important part of Rootschat, as posting anything about living people on the threads is not permitted.
Dee :)
