Does anyone know if there are any publications with photos of previous Baillies of Elgin
I am particularly interested in a Robert Ross Williamson who died in 1936.
There is an entry in the Moray life 1937 page 69 and the Northern Scot Christmas number 1937 p 49 but not sure if there is a photo.
If anyone has access to these entries could you have a look to see if there is a photo of Robert.
Cheers

Hi Betty.... Have you looked at Moray Heritage site? I have just checked the Libindx and there is a lot of information on him on there. I am going to the Heritage Centre in Elgin very soon. If you let me know exactly what you are after I am happy to have a look for you and post any photos (if any) on to you. Cheers Katie

Thanks Katie for replying to my query.
There are two Robert Ross Williamsons on Libindx. The one I am interested in is the one married to Margaret Campbell Stewart. He died on 13th November 1936. The other one is his father.
Don't use up your time looking at Robert Snrs information. At the moment I am looking for a photo of Robert Jnr. to see if he is on a wedding photo we have taken in 1917.
It would be brilliant if you could look up the entry in Moray Life and the Northern Scot Christmas number for 1937 to see if the entries have a photo of him.
There is no mention of an obituary on Libindx which surprises me with him being a Baillie and a business man.
I really appreciate your help and thank you for your time.

Hi Betty,
The reason there is no obituray on libindx may be that the edition of the Northern Scot it's in has not been indexed yet.
It's as well to remember that libindx is a work in progress and you should keep going back to it because there is new information going on to it all the time.
Regards
Jenny
