am searching for a eva barber or any connection, eva barber married edward meredith price in dec1911 have recovered some of the price heritage now i need to find the barber side of the family.
i would like to find out who my great grand parents etc are as eva barber and edward meredith price were my grandparents.
most of the price family come under the gelligaer glamorganshire area i wondered if the baber family come from the same area.

You really need to purchase the marriage cert -which should give you names and occupations of fathers

1911 there is an Eva Elizabeth barber age 20 in Brecon -ut noticed your Eve had no middle name

there is an Eva barker age 20 b Newcasrtle Staffordshire who is a Waitress in  Windsor Hotel Barry Glamorgan

Do you have any other information on Eva???

I have lots of info on the price family glamorgan, only thing I know of Eva is where she is buried

Is there a headstone and her age on it???

Maybe she died recent enough for her d.o.b. to be included in her death reg

There is a headstone and eva died 14 april 1981 Hope that helps you

I can only find death registrations Jun qtr 1891 for "Eva Price" in Surrey and Bolton???
the Bolton one gives a d.o.b. of 19 may 1895
the Surrey one d.o.b. 31 July 1889

?????

Was she not buried in Glamorgan??

There should be a death reg for her - wonder of she died elsewhere and was brought home to be buried??


Are you certain the Eva Price buried with William Merideth Price is his wife

Edward Meredeth price's death was registered Sept qtr 1922 Neath reg dist and his y.o.b. is given as c. 1858
As Eva died 1981 that would be c. 59 years after Eva????????
