Title: My Hannah
Post by: sue7 on Monday 05 October 09 13:40 BST (UK)
Help please if possible,

I have Hannah Dickenson marrying a John Jobbins 25/9/1792 in Sherston Magna,
I would like to find out who Hannah's parents were, as I feel it must be my Hannah, but want to be 100 percent sure.
I would be grateful for any input.

Thanks Sue

Sue,

The marriage details you give are from the IGI and did you notice that it is a submuitted entry so not to be trusted.

It seems you might have to search an LDS film of the Sherston M records to verify the marriage before anthing else.  Have a look at the LDS library catalogue for film numbers which can be hired and viewed at an LDS FHC.

Regards

Chas

Chas is right about not trusting submitted records,  the LDS have this marriage on their vital records index which I believe is extracted and the date is different

John Jobbins and Hannah Dickenson
Sherston Magna, Wiltshire
married 13th November 1792
