I am trying to trace Malcolm Hutchison born 1914 in Bridgeton, Glasgow. I believe he emigrated to Canada sometime in the 1940/50's. Malcolm was divorved from his wife Jeannie McLaren. They had two children Jean and John who I am also unable to trace. No record on passenger lists.
I have since discovered that Jeannie McLaren remarried Jardine Galloway and they, with their 13 year old daughter emigrated to Montreal in 1953.
If anyone can help me trace any of the above I would be very grateful.

Find My Past shows they have a record of Jardine Galloway born 1915 travelling Glasgow to Montreal in 1953 and a record of Malcolm Hutchison born 1903 travelling Liverpool to Montreal in 1940. I don't have a subscription so can't look up any details. Canada's privacy laws don't allow access to birth, death or marriage records from this time period. Canada411 might give you some possible leads or you could look up the Montreal library website and contact them by email and ask if they could look for these names in their city directories.
