Hi

Would the records for the Stranorlar Workhouse for the early 1920's late 1919 be available would anyone know?

Am looking for anything on Eliza Coyle who died there in March 1920 after 3 months.  The Occupier at the time of the workhouse was a James Foy.

She lived somewhere in Leaght with her 2nd husband Patrick Coyle.

Many thanks for any information

I am looking for information ancestors Eliza and Patrick Coyle who lived in Leaght near Stranorlar in the 1919/1920 era (or before and after).

Eliza died in March 1920.

Would a directory give their actual address or are there any other records that would yield info. on them please?

If she died in the Stranorlar workhouse, would she have had a headstone or been buried in their own graveyard?

Is ther a graveyard for the area of Leaght?

so many questions...

Many thanks for any help.

Moderator's Comment: Various Coyle posts now merged together. 1911 census is now available online and 1901 is expected to be added in the future.

Hi. Just wondered if you discovered any further information regarding Eliza and Patrick Coyle? Patrick was my grandfather, he married again after Eliza’s death and had eight children. However, none were aware of his  marriage to Eliza until we started our ancestry search.
