I am looking for the death of Ann Chapman (full name was Mary Ann Catherine Chapman) about 1915, I think in Carrickfergus. She was born in South Africa and I found her on the 1911 census in Antrim
Can any one help please?

Thanks, I have tried that but cannot find her, She is my grandfather's first wife and I am trying to find out if she actually died before he married my grandmother.

Is this her?
Annie CHAPMAN (age 68) death Oct./Dec.1914 Larne registration district volume 1 page 445

That looks very promising as I have got her as being born about 1846, is Larne the registration district for Carrickfergus? It fits in as my grandparents were married in 1915 although they had been together for nearly 20 years! Well at least they waited til she died before they got married.
Thank you for finding it for me

Hi, This is my first posting on this site so here I go! Mary Chapman was my great, great grandmother. I know she was married to Philip Marmon Phillips at Newry Registrars office in 1855. One of the witnesses was Henry Longmore. I cannot see the names Longmore and Chapman being together in this way being purely a coincidence. Any ideas!!

Correction - Mary Chapman married Philip Marmen Phillips, witness was Henry Longmore and Alan Kennedy.
