I am looking for William Light  and I know he was in prison in the 1881 census in Winchester - would love to know why and for how long.

Where was William Light from & a date of birth might also help .

I can see one record that might be him

Sorry Ignore the previous record ...if he only got 4 months then he would have been out prior to the 1881

Hi,

William Light was from Winchester and was born in 1864, in the 1881 census he is in Winchester prison age 17. I have been told that sometimes he went by the name John Light, but of this I am not certain.
