Could you please look up the Passenger Lists for Thomas & Annie CLOUGH from Bolton, Lancashire. Migrated to South Africa after WW1. The family know a member went to South Africa, but know nothing more about what happened to them.
I have been looking everywhere for them, but have had no luck. I think they settled in Johannesburg, but then again, they could have moved on.
I would be very grateful if anyone can supply me with information, name of ship, where it landed, date they departed and if possible, where they settled.
Any information or advise would be very grateful for.

Hi Jeanette
There's a death notice on Naairs for a Thomas Clough 1910
MHG Ref 15336 which is in Pretoria very close to Johannesburg, but then it may not be
your Thomas.
The other two death notices also for Thomas Clough one 1918
Surviving Spouse Margaret and the other 1938 Surviving Spouse Margaret Ellen born Roberts
What was Annie's maiden name? as I can't find anything for a Annie Clough.

Thank you for replying. Thomas and Annie Clough left Bolton, Lancashire, England after WW1, which would be about 1918-1920. Annie's maiden name is SETTLE. They may not have come to South Africa, but to Australia or America, instead. Bit of a mystery this family. There are children, William, Elizabeth Alice, James and Thomas. They left England with Annie's sister, Alice & James Edmondson.
Thank you for investigating for me and appreciate any information.
