Do you have any first names as it would make this easier?

Hi rock7,
My mothers name was Julia (Peggy)Roche, the family lived in Thomas St.
My research so far indicates that they lived there in the 1920's, however my great-grandfather (Patrick John), who was married in 1880 has an address in "Coombe" on his marriage cert.
Roche names that I have come across in my family so far are : Mary, Christina,Joseph, Philip, William, Michael, Patrick and John.

I can see a Julia Roche living with a Mary at 128 Thomas Street in the 1939/40 Electorial list...

Along with a Mary Frances Roche and a John J Roche....lot of people in this house, including Dempseys and Dohertys

A William Roche living at 53 Thomas Street, living with lots of other people, none Roches

And that's all I can see. But I'm not great with Dublin streets, so the streets some of the Roches were living on could be right next to Thomas Street

Thanks Alicat84, I had found the 128 Thomas entry but not William at 53 Thomas St. Will follow this lead and see if it is our William.
Thanks again
