i am lookin for any shennan family members from glasgow/are
Mary B SHENNAN - parents were James SHENNAN and Maggie /Margaret HALL who were married 16/7/1896 at 911 Castle Street, Glasgow. James- son of John SHENNAN a Ploughman and Elizabeth SHENNAN / BUCHANAN.
Margaret /Maggie HALL - parents were William HALL a Boilermaker and Mary HALL / EMES.
In the 1881 census John and Elizabeth SHENNAN were living in Wildmans Road, Carluke, Lanark - He was 42 b. in Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbright and she was 33 b.Ireland. There were two sons and a daughter with them - John SHENNAN 13 b. Edinburgh. James SHENNAN 8 b.Ayr and Mary SHENNAN 7 b.Ayr.
