We have a Elizabeth?  marrying a David Higgins (1861-1907)he was born in skirmett.

He has had a number of children in a number of different countries.
Ireland,malta<bangalore.

Is there any way of knowing more about Elizabeth
We know she was born in India, no marriage. but on uk census when they returned..

Any ideas

Have you got him in 1901?
I was just looking at RG13 4684 54 22, but dont think that can be them as children born in Durham area

Were any children born in UK? If so, a birth cert will give Elizabeths maiden name.

which leads me to RG13 1351 71 26

and indeed several of the children are born in UK - so a birth cert for one would give you Elizabeth's maiden name
