A kind researcher was able to locate a family of interest when I could not. I now know this family lived for more than a decade, perhaps two decades, on Southsea Road, Croydon, but even with this information, I cannot find their deaths. Would love to order death certificates and find their burial locations. I know their deaths would have been after 1901 at which time they are alive and well on Southsea in Croydon. The three individuals of interest are:
Mary McIntosh, b. December 1854 in Durham
William McIntosh, b. 1855 in Northumberland
Robert McIntosh, b. 1876 in Durham
Thank you.

Hi
Freebmd deaths cover to approx the early 1930's which should help with Mary & William
However - if Robert lived beyond then, you would need to search the full GRO index
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com
Have you checked if they appear on the 1911 census as that will help narrow down a search

Thank you for that. I did try both of those sites without success. One problem for me is that I am not familiar enough with the English locations. I get several death entries that could be my McIntosh's but the areas are not Croydon or Surrey. For the 1911 census, I find no McIntoshes at all under the several variations I tried.
I also read the information posted about London area burials and it looks like I have an uphill battle to find them.

Using the above 1911 link there is a Mary Annie McIntosh (widow) living in Northumberland born the right time frame.

Thank you CeBe. I will look again.

Also - have you checked the above BMD link for BMD's for Northumberland and Durham between 1906 and 1910? Might find something there!
