My uncle David Wade born in 1902 left Dublin for the USA, not sure exactly when but probably in the 20s or early thirties. I know that he sailed to New York, lived in Brooklyn, married and italian girl and had two sons in the US navy. I think he went to,live initially with his uncle, surname Murphy.
I'm not really sure where to start. I thought passenger lists might be a good ideas but would he have sailed from Dublin, or from Cobh...my mum thinks that latter as she ha an idea that's where most emigrants sailed to the US. Any suggestions ?.

Hi,
I have checked the records and there was no David Wade born in Ireland in 1902. There were two born below,
David Wade: 1905 in Ballymoney Registration District
David Wade: 1906 in Dublin South.
I have a record of a David Wade entering the United States on the 23rd Dec 1927 he left Cobh and sailed on the President Harding ship. This is the David Wade born in 1906.
The David Wade born in 1905 left Belfast Port and went to Quebec in 23th May 1925 on the ship Aurania.
