My father's sister died having choked on some food. According to her death certificate there was an inquest, I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to look this up in the local paper. The details are as follows:
Honora Ferrer. Died 29 January 1926 - inquest held 1 February 1926.
She died in Oldbury which at that time came under West Bromwich in the county of Worcestershire. It may have been reported in one of the Birmingham papers or whatever was the local paper at the time. If not can anyone suggest the best place to get a copy.

Start with emailing Worcestershire Central Library with the details. I had a similar situation and within days I recieved a copy of the paper.
Hope this helps

Thanks for this.
I have e-mailed the record office and got an out of office reply. The person will be back in the office on 21 Sept so hopefully they will be able to help when they return.

Let me know how you get on.
