Some of my Carvers emigrated over the border from Norfolk into Suffolk - they originated in the SE Norfolk area. Do you have any details? Will try to help.

Nick

You didn't give the name of the ancestor in Mendlesham, but I have checked White's 1844 and found that William Batley was a Beer House Keeper.

Does anyone have any CARVERS from around Worlingworth? I have a Susannah Carver, b.c. 1740, who married John TAYLOR and had  their family in Worlingworth from c1776-1787. I'd love to find out more about Susannah - parents, siblings etc. Any information gratefully received.
