please help my search for my g.g. aunt Kate Baker, teaching there in 1901, she was born in 1858 in Halton Holegate, Lincolnshire. i think she was still there in 1914, ( kelly's) in 1901 she was living at 25, western street, East Murton. Also living there was Elizabeth Rigg age 46, and Emma A M Parrott age 31. Also is Western street still there.
Also, where is the nearest train station to Murton.
Any info would be appriciated. Thank you.

If you mean today it is Sunderland, and then Durham. See http://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com/Documents/PDFs/16880_Route_map.pdf

In 1914 the nearest railway station was Seaham Harbour.
