Hello

I am looking for census information in  1871 for the following please.

ACKERMAN(N)  John  head
Ackermann      Lucy   wife

and any children too please.  I do not have any further infomation on them except that Lucy may have been born in Charlton Adam in 1842.

Lucy ACKERMAN
December 1868
Langport 5c 299
Age 26

Marriage;
June 1863
John ACKERMANN
Lucy DENNIS
Langport 5c 749

Possible births Ackerman/n
1863-1868 in Langport reg district

Grace Ackerman Dec 1863
George Acreman September 1864
Anna Maria Acreman March 1868

There are others in different reg districts.

What child of John and Lucy are you looking for?
It is likely John Remarried.
They would not appear on any census together if this is the correct Lucy Ackermann

Thanks for that information, that is probably why I could not find her in 1881 census.

The date on her death works out to be my Lucy Dennis born 1842 who possibly got married to John Ackermann.

Sarah, wife, 24, glove maker, Charlton Adam, Somerset
George, son, 6
John, son, 4
Anna.M., daug, 3
Joseph.C., son, 1
( All children born Charlton Adam, Somerset)

I would say only Joseph is the son of Sarah
Only marriage I can find for a John to a Sarah is this; there are none in Somerset.

Thank you so much for that Trish,  it finally concludes that the Lucy that married John Ackermann was Lucy Dennis born 1842 at Charlton Adam.
