Title: Milk delivery cart
Post by: sgauntlett on Monday 24 August 09 23:25 BST (UK)
I scanned this from the Portsmouth Evening News a while back. I contacted them to try to get hold of a copy of the photograph but they were unable to help. My family started the Gauntlett Dairies and I'd like to use this photo in one of my family reports.

Could someone improve it for me?

Many thanks.

Simon

Certainly don't want to break anyone's copyright so I have removed the image. As it was from a newspaper I thought it may be OK for personal use (in a report for my family) but clearly I didn't read the rules closely enough.

Sorry folks.  :-[

hello,

I went to school with Desmond Gauntlett (born 1946) whose father then ran the dairies.
I was also born in the same nursing home as Desmond the day after him. I have not seen him
since then 1950s.  I would welcome news.

Regards

Bill

Hi Bill,
Desmond is my uncle (Dad's brother!) so I see him regularly. Des still farms in Hampshire.
If you want to get back in touch, send me a private message with your email and I'll let you have his.
Best wishes,
Simon

Hello Simon,
Thank you for the good news. I would very much like to get in touch, but can't send personal
message yet.  Wish Desmond a happy birthday.
Many regards,
Bill.
