Hello Colin,
Thank-you for your very kind offer to do Giggleswick lookups.
If you have some time on your hands, would you mind checking the baptism of Joseph Parker (born c.1806 for me)?
There is a likely match for Joseph on the IGI for 2 March 1806, but I can't be sure if this is my Joseph and it would be great to know if there's any information in the full parish record entry that doesn't appear in the IGI, as it would help me investigate further.
I would also be really appreciative if you wouldn't mind checking for a marriage between Joseph Parker and Ellen Wilson in Giggleswick - their eldest child that I know of (John) was born in Settle in 1832, so I would expect the marriage to be roughly around 1830ish. Please only bother with this particular lookup if you're feeling bored though, as Ellen was from Austwick, so there is a reasonable chance that they were married there instead of Giggleswick!
Many thanks again,
Hannah

Hello Hannah
I have just come accross your request for info on Joseph Parker and Ellen Wilson. They were married at Clapham on 8 Oct 1831. Joseph Parker is my 1st cousin 4 times removed through my 4th Great grandparents Thomas Green and Rebecca Robinson.
Hope this helps.

Hello Richard,
I've only just found your post (I haven't checked my email for quite a while - oops!). Thanks ever so much for the information about Joseph's marriage - it was a lovely surprise.
Joseph and Ellen are my 4xg-grandparents, through their son Edward.
