Title: Mulcahy - Honora and Mary both married !855
Post by: julian57 on Sunday 23 August 09 18:52 BST (UK)
My Mary Mulcahy married in Bruff on the same day as Honora Mulcahy married Michel Reilly or Reidy. this suggests that Honora and Mary were sisters in Bruff, 1855.

Does this ring and bells with anyone?

They were married in Bruff, but ours were married in Murroe, some distance away. just thought i'd tell ya. Sorry Julian for writing in on your post here.

Do you have a Margaret Mulcahy, who married a Thomas Ryan in Murroe in the 1820`s, in your family tree ???

no, the main people i was looking for were Hanley who married a Mulcahy. We're not sure which Mulcahy at all or indeed which Hanley our family belonged to prior to this because on the marriage church  cert the names of the bride and grooms fathers were not recorded so we've kinda reached a dead end :( :'(
