You did not say which census but a street search (free on Find My Past) 1891 & 1901 showed nil return.  However, Julian Grove exists today and has Victorian Houses so it has probably been renamed at some time.   It backs on to St Botolph's Priory and as there is a Priory Grove listed in the census, but no longer exists, then that may have been its former name.

Hi Barry
thanks for your help
I think it might be the same place as St Julian grove backs on to the priory
I will try and find a old map and see if St Julian grove was a other name
any census look up would be great
Cheers Jan
