Hello, Do you have access to 1841 census for Glamorgan?  If so could you please look up William Pearce b/1798 aprx and his wife Elizabeth b/aprx 1801] [nee Deere] at St Brides Major.  I think their children were Thomas, Edward and David.  Thank you.  Maddison

I looked into Family Search, Latter Day Saints web sight and an entry for William PIERCE born 18/2/1798 St. Brides Major shows an entry on a Pedigree.

Could this be your William Pierce and an American background?
Worth a try?
