Title: Research RALPH and BRUMWELL name Llandyssil, Montgomeryshire
Post by: GWENDOLINE on Tuesday 01 March 05 16:47 GMT (UK)
I am researching David Ralph 1828 - 1897 married to Ann Stephens  1828 - 1881  and Richard Brumwell 1931 - 1900 married to Mary Bason 1837 - 1882 all from Llandyssil, Montgomeryshire.  I have accessed the censuses to 1871 would like to know what appears on the earlier censuses of 1861/51 and even earlier if possible.

David Ralph and his parents and siblings are my primary interest at the moment   David was actually born at Churchstoke.

Thanks very much for this information.  have today attended an Open Day for Montgomeryshire  F H Society and moved on a great deal as they had a little book on the churchyard and the inscriptions on the gravestones in Llandyssil, which has put some more dates to my questions and I can move on.

Hello Gwendoline

I have a David Ralph in my family tree. He was born about 1830 in Churchstoke and married an Ann who I had guessed may be Ann Stephens. One of David and Ann's 7 children was Jane who was the second wife of Richard Price. I have only started researching this line since my connection is from my wife to Richard's first wife Annie Pryce. I have put together information from the census returns (1851-1901) about David and Ann which I can e-mail.
I would love to exchange information.

all the best
John
