Post by: zx123 on Wednesday 05 August 09 18:59 BST (UK)
Hi,
im searching for information about someone called john sweet,
he was born in about 1815,in yatton in sommerset,
He died in 1889,
his father was called richard sweet, and his first wife was called mary.
at some point He moved to south wales as he is listed as being in south wales on every census from 1841 to 1881.

Ive found his baptism listed on the freereg parish regiter website, and ive found him on the censuses upto 1880,but other than that ive hit a brick wall and i was wondering if anybody could give me any suggestions on how to find out any information on how to trace the family further back?

on freereg it says he was baptised in st mary the virgin church.

What siblings for john sweet could you find?
What occupation was his father?
Did any other from YAtton/Somerset end up in the same area of south Wales (potential family members)
