Dear listers,
I wonder if anyone has any information about a Bernard Murphy, Ballytrodden, Co. Armagh in the parish of Clonfeacle, believed to have been murdered by a man named Garvey about 1877 or thereabouts.
Good searching everyone.

this looks like him, from proni's will calendar search;Letters of Administration of the personal estate of Bernard Murphy late of Ballytrodden County Armagh Farmer deceased who died 13 February 1877 at Tirgarve in said County were granted at Armagh to Ellen Murphy of Ballytrodden (Blackwatertown) aforesaid the Widow of said deceased. if it's him then it gives you a date for his death.
