Title: Marriage of William MAPLESDEN in NW Kent, C17.
Post by: Samueller on Monday 03 August 09 22:30 BST (UK)
I'm seeking marriage of William MAPLESDEN to bride possibly Anne WELLER and probably NW Kent.  He was executor, referred to as brother-in-law, in will of Richard WELLER of Tewdly [Tudeley] in 1688.

Any help or advice appreciated.

Sam.

I have now learnt that William of Headcorn or another William MAPLESDEN and wife Ann had a son William baptised Tonbridge 6 Mar 1693. The older William could well be the brother-in-law of the testator.  I now would welcome help finding his marriage to see if his wife Ann was formerly Ann WELLER.
