I am really struggling to read where the following census is, I am looking for the Stephen Thomas family born 1806 and have found them on the 1841 census but i cannot read the place, i have lost the family from this cenus and cannot find them in future census...
Class: HO107; Piece 999; Book: 9; Civil Parish: Wolverhampton; County: Staffordshire; Enumeration District: 18; Folio: 40; Page: 29; Line: 24;
I can see Stephen and his wife are not born of county but the children are
I hope someone can please help me

Hi Jan,
Is it the street name you can't read? If so, I think it's Wharf Street.

Thanks to you both for looking for me i will have a look which area Wharf Street is in..
Appreciate your help...I cannot find them in future census, they just seem to disappear, so i was hoping from some clues from the 1841 census
Many thanks

It's in the hundred of North Seisdon and East Cuttlestone and South Offlow in the Sub-registration district of Wolverhampton Eastern - is that what you mean?
Doesn't the district number 18 follow through the censuses or am I cracking up :P

I have found a Whaf Street, it is actually in wolverhampton not far from Bilston Road...the census is 18
I wonder where this family disappeared to in future census ???, i know the son Samual ends up in Oz as a inmate for theft..but the rest of the family are not coming up on future census unless they moved out of the area completely
Thanks for your help
