Irene

Do you still require this look-up?

Hi Dawn, Yes I still require this info.  Never been able to find his birth/baptism.  In fact would be interested in any Clay/Haydon information from that area.

Regards, Irene

I'm planning a day trip to the LMA on either 7th or 14th April.

I'll add you to my list of look-ups.

Hi Irene

Had a look through St Mary's Hanwell baptism register and he's not there between 1819 and 1827.

I see you have another post here

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,26626.0.html

asking for the same look up in Greenford.

I do know that the registers for Holy Cross Church are still at the church and haven't been deposited for safe-keeping.

I have the name and address details for the parish clerk who does do look-ups (likes a donation to the church funds for doing so) if you want to follow this up with him. Let me know if you need them.

Dawn

Thank you for trying Dawn.  Insofar as the Greenford entry - he was supposed to have been born in Greenford but certainly his parents and sisters are buried in Hanwell.    Also I was given an email address and the name of the Reverend at Greenford and I wrote to him a while back and received the reply that he couldnt help - any information would be at London Records Office or something like that.

Once again thanks for trying Dawn - it was appreciated.
