I have now discovered from Staffordshire BMD Esthers maiden name to be Cooper but...
Still struggling to find more out about her husband William
William Smith was born circa 1852 probably in Burslem he later married Esther and settled in Tunstall - I'm hoping someone may help me see if he shows up on the 1861 census and to find out who his parents were and what they did?

Im also very keen to find where in staffordshire his parents lived?

Therv is a Esther Orme  that married A william Smith in the staffordshire BMD site Burton upon Trent Staffordshire   Is it possible this is yours ??

no dont think so - think both Esther and William her husband were local to Burslem and Tunstall area - both down as born in Burslem in 1901 census.
very keen to find her maiden name they had 11 children!
