Title: Bleach
Post by: catrenne on Thursday 23 July 09 12:40 BST (UK)
Any chance that someone could try to find a death certificate for William Thomas Bleach around 1985 and possibly anything that  might suggest he was divorced and remarried after 1926? Thanks

The only way to get a death Certificate is to order it from the GRO.

I checked the indexes for the years 1984 - 2005 to find only three William Bleaches death in Sussex, all had a second or a first name, none was a Thomas.

A search for a William Thomas Bleach, all Counties produced no result.

As it's so recent is there nobody that you could ask if they remember a more definite date? and if as I suspect it's before 1984 then it will mean a page by page search of the indexes.  You would be able to do this at your local Record Office who will have the images available on microfiche.  Also they are available on www.findmypast.com which might be a good option since it has a pay-per-view subscription.
