Title: Albert STOKES - Birth Certificate
Post by: auntie mandy on Monday 20 July 09 08:54 BST (UK)
Hi everyone,

I cannot find the birth certificate for my Great Grandfather Albert Stokes.

I have found a baptism entry for him :
Baptised   : 10 Jan 1864 in St. Decumans, Williton.
Baptism, Page 13 entry 99, Albert, son of William and Arabella Stokes, Watchet, Labourer

Any help or advice would be very gratfully received.

Mandy

Have you found the family on any census?

He might not have been a baby at baptism.

Hi Liz

That's them - from the this information and the baptism it makes me think he was bron in the latter part of 1863.

I have the birth certificates for all of his siblings, but I just can't find him (the one I really want!).

regards

Mandy
