Hello,
I am currently researching the Cox family in County Mayo. They lived in Cloonfaulis. I have found a Lawrence Cox and Catharine o"Gara and they have a son James. James is born around 1850. I am trying to find other siblings to James, particularly an Andrew. Any help on this would be appreciated. I have a lot of info going forward when James marries Ellen McKensey and I am happy to share it.

Hi,
My great great grandfather, Michael Cox, was married in 1823 and lived in or near Aghadiffin, Mayo.
I believe we are in the same area.
Cox is a rather common name.
But perhaps we are related.
I have been trying to sort out who brothers or cousins to him would be.
Beginning in 1849, at least four of his sons came to the U.S. The oldest was born @1829.
