Title: Louis Henry EITELBERG
Post by: JEBelfield on Saturday 18 July 09 15:44 BST (UK)
This is all great info(*) - I am looking for Louis Henry Eitelberg who according to census#s was born in Camden Town in 1860. However, we think he was born in Poland and fled over here. Having trouble finding useful info! I have a Leib Edelberg born in Tarnopol in 1862 - I am wondering if that is in fact him. I haven't got the right membership for the incoming passenger lists yet, but I guess that might be the next move....

If he was from Europe and arrived into England, he won't be on the incoming passenger lists.

Start with his marriage certificate here-- what was his father's name and occupation?  What is the earliest census you have him on in England?
