Help please,
    Thanks to OPC Thomas Peeke who discovered that Simon Kelly and Sarah Amery [married 1789 Doddiscombeleigh] were the parents of my Thomas Kelly b1805 in Doddiscombleigh, i am now searching for conformation that Simon Kelly was indeed born 26 4 1765 at Whitestone,Devon.
Hopefully somebody can confirm who Simon's parents were.
The closest i can get is Francis Kelly who married Mary ? [pehaps Mary Hammet in 1745] but i feel this is a little early.

Email the Devon Record Office and ask them to check the baptism (not birth) at Whitestone, giving the date. They will confirm the names of the parents. See their website at http://www.devon.gov.uk/record_office.htm for details on how to enquire. (Right hand side of page)
