Title: Susan Ann (nee Williams) & Samuel Richard Busby
Post by: Barbara348 on Tuesday 14 July 09 23:02 BST (UK)
Hi, does anyone out there recognise these names:

Susan Ann Williams(my mother's cousin)
and Samuel Richard Busby, who married in Chester in 1915.

I'm trying to trace descendants so maybe someone has these people in their Family Tree?

Hope so,

Barbara.

Hi Barbara,

Possible birth of child found on FreeBMD (http://freebmd.rootsweb.com):

          male DecQ 1925 Chester.

Other Busby births, with mother Williams, but in Brentford or Birmingham.

Hi,

Have you tried looking for other trees online;  somewhere like GenesReunited?

Hi nanny jan,

Back at last,

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to try on Genes Reunited and also place this post on the all counties board, in case the family I'm looking for moved from the Chester area.

I appreciate your suggestion.

Cheers

Barbara.

Hello Susie, Barbara here, the originator of this post ( a good few years back now).

As I mentioned,I've been trying to trace Susan Ann Williams(my mother's cousin)
and Samuel Richard Busby, who married in Chester in 1915.
So it's really good to get some news from a family connection to Susan & Samuel at last.

My Mum was Sarah Ann Williams and her Father  - my Grandfather- was William Williams.

Could you confirm what your Grandfather's name was please, so that I can check my family notes and confirm that we are talking about the same  family.

I really hope we are, it would be great to be able help each other by  exchanging information and hopefully filling some gaps in my Family Tree.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes,

Barbara.

Hi again Susie,

I am trying to put together a  Williams family tree at the moment and I wondered if you could help me out by telling me what your Grandfathers name was, so that I can fill out some of the gaps in the tree that I'm working on and confirm that my Grandfather and yours were brothers.
It would be great if I could do that.

I'd really appreciate any information that would help me put this tree together.

Cheers

Barbara.

Hi Barbara and Susan,

I believe we may be related - I am a descendant of Enoch Williams (1847-1922) and Ann Parker (1846-). John Henry Williams and Mary Ann Bowen were my great-grandparents. Pte 6155 Enoch Williams was my grandmother's uncle - so my great-great-uncle?

BTW. his name is on the St Martins War Memorial and in St Martins Church (guess you already know).

It would be wonderful to hear from you.

Martin.
