Title: Fianna Eireann 1909
Post by: tommobecket on Monday 13 July 09 17:41 BST (UK)
I have a hunch that my grandfather Denis Byrne, who fought for the Irish Citizen Army in the 1916 Easter rising, may have been a member of Fianna Eireann during its beginnings in Dublin. Are there any membership records available or other sources that may lead to finding out more? Many thanks

Hello Joe

not yet! having difficulty tracing any Byrne links from Denis Byrne (c1900-1940). Do you have a connection?

Dera Fianna, I am grasping at straws! My Laurence and Catherine Byrner left Dublin circa 1852 for Liverpool.  So far i know zero of my Dublin Byrne family!
Kind Regards, Joe walker
PS please keep me in mind, for the future, JWDW
