Hi
I,m trying to trace my mothers cousins  family who emigrated to Austrailia in the 1930 /40
her name was Euphemia Goldie b 1909 Livingstone West Lothian Scot, her married name was Johnstone my last known address for her was
West Wilding St Doubleview W Austrailia i found this address in my mothers old diary they both kept in touch until the nineteen seventies i think.
I would be grateful for any help.

The GOLDIE family arrived in Australia aboard the BENDIGO which departed London on the 26 Apr 1927. They were ticketed to Fremantle

GOLDIE Alexander 44 Married He was an Engineman, last address in UK 20 Redheugh Cottages Blackburn by Bathgate West Lothian. intended permanent residence in Australia.

GOLDIE Mrs Jeannie 39 Married Wife "
GOLDIE Euphemia Single 18 domestic "
GOLDIE Elizabeth Single 16 domestic "

GOLDIE Margaret  6 - "
GOLDIE Mary 3 - "

You will find Euphemia and several of her sibling's marriages listed

Euphemia's surname appears to be JOHNSTON (no e)

1936 Electoral Roll - presuming this is her parents

GOLDIE Alexander - Andersons Compound Wiluna (Kalgoorlie District) Miner
GOLDIE Jean Heggie - Home Duties

and here are Clarence and Euphemia

Euphemia died in 1993 - memorial at Pinarroo Valley. She was living at Carlisle at the time

Clarence died in 1965 memorial at Karrakatta. He was living at Doubleview at the time, which fits with your mothers diary.

Thanks for the information on Euphemia, brilliant i didn't have her two youngest sisters Mary and Margaret.
Jeannie Snaddon Heggie was my grandmothers sister thanks again.
